For many years I have worked in a busy general hospital. The need to be creative has nagged at the back of my mind until I was introduced to Clay at Derby University. Since then I have been learning to throw pots.
The pots I make reflect the world that I live in. They are covered in images taken from the allotments, gardens and streets around me.
I have always supported the underdog. I want to stand up for the earwigs and woodlice, admire brussel sprouts and rusting wheelbarrows as essential and equal partners in the world. Without them life would be infinitely dull and sterile.
